Who we are and what we collect

Restocky is an inventory management app for Shopify merchants operated by Jacqueline O'Donnell. This policy explains how data is processed when merchants install or use the app.

We process the business data needed to operate Restocky and keep support working well.

  • Shop domain and app installation metadata
  • Product, variant, inventory item, and location identifiers and quantities
  • Order data used for simple reorder suggestions
  • Supplier records, purchase orders, receiving records, stocktake records, and notes
  • Subscription and billing status data from Shopify

How data is used

Data is used only to operate, maintain, and improve Restocky. We do not sell merchant data.

We may share data with service providers that help host and operate Restocky, subject to confidentiality and security controls, or where disclosure is required by law.

  • Generate low-stock alerts and reorder suggestions
  • Create and manage purchase orders, receiving, and stocktakes
  • Sync approved inventory adjustments back to Shopify
  • Operate billing access controls and subscription status checks
  • Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and provide support

Retention, security, and contact

We retain store data while a shop actively uses Restocky. When Shopify uninstall or erasure events are received, we delete or anonymize associated shop data in line with Shopify requirements and applicable law.

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

For privacy questions or complaints, contact support using the public support address.
